The 1998 Penang Baptist Church Sunday School main theme is to endeavour towards learning from:
"Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and men."
Luke 2:52

The Sunday School main objective and function is to uplift the young students and adults in enhancing their knowledge in God's words..the Bible, to guild them from young to old and not sway away from His precious words.

The Penang Baptist Church Sunday School have nine classes. Every student, from youth to adult, is subjected to appropriate curriculum and classes, to endeavour and advance in the knowledge of the Lord's words consistently.

Of course, apart from incline and indulge in the knowledge of Bible, the Sunday School also does not forget to emphasise in the teaching of fellowship and Christianity as well as appropriate secular knowledge, to help students grow at par spiritually and mentally. As such, the Sunday School always organise a series of activities, such as : Bible knowledge competition, memorise scripture verses, one day tour and school break Bible school etc.

The Sunday School also keen to promote the habit of waking up early by going to bed early, thus the schooling hour is from 9 am to 10 am every Sunday morning.
